General
Installation
Yes, installing wallpaper yourself is absolutely possible and a popular DIY project, but it does require some care and preparation.
Here are a few things to consider that will help determine which material is right for your project:
-
Your Wallpaper Type
- Unpasted: You have to apply the adhesive (wallpaper paste) to the back of the paper or directly to the wall ("paste the wall").
- Peel and Stick: This is the most beginner-friendly and great for renters.
-
Wall Condition
The wall surface should be clean, smooth, and primed. Poorly prepped walls can cause the paper to bubble, peel, or show imperfections.
We have thoughtfully created Preparation and Installation Guides for each of our materials to help you with your wallpaper project. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our team who would be happy to assist.
