Creativity has always been at the heart of my life. I grew up in Virginia, spending my summers in the Northern Neck by the Chesapeake Bay, a landscape that continues to inspire the designs I create today. Now living here year-round, I feel deeply connected to the lush surroundings that inform my work. From an early age, I felt the joy of making things by hand, of bringing beauty into everyday life, and of creating experiences that connect people.

As an entrepreneur, artist, and designer, I co-founded August Table with my husband Krister, where we create hand-block printed table linens and home products that blend timeless design with intimacy and warmth. I personally draw all of our linen designs, collaborating with skilled artisans in India who carve the blocks and bring the patterns to life. Our first wallpaper collection grows directly from these linens, translating the textures and motifs of our fabrics into immersive wall art, with future designs inspired by my oil paintings.

Nature, gatherings, and the joy of creating moments that bring people together are central to my work. Whether in a textile, a wallpaper, or a painting, I aim to create pieces that elevate the everyday, infusing homes with beauty, texture, and a sense of connection. Each design is a celebration of craft, landscape, and the quiet pleasure of slowing down to savor life’s details.

August Table brings you fresh designs that combine luxe farmhouse and boho chic elements to elevate your ordinary. August Table creates their designs in Virginia and then works with block printers in India to transform the designs with an age-old block printing technique. Each design in this collection is born from the intricate patterns used on August Table's tabletop line of tea towels and is  carefully recreated to capture every thread and weave, resulting in an eye-catching display of texture and depth.
